Greyhound Gap Microchipping Surgeries
Greyhound Gap brings Microchipping surgeries to local communities!
We all love our dogs and want to keep them safe but ever wondered what would happen if your dog should ever become lost?
Microchipping is an effective way of helping you and your dog be re-united. A small chip is implanted into your dog and this stores your details so if your dog should lose its collar and tag and is found by a vet or dog warden they can scan your dog and pull the details off a large database and easily return your dog to you.
The procedure is quick and relatively painless and made with minimal distress to your dog. The chip will last for the lifetime of your dog and once the implant fee is paid there are no ongoing costs to you.
Greyhound Gap will be hosting 'drop in' microchipping surgeries in local communities, they will conveniently take place on a Saturday or Sunday and no appointment is necessary, just call in! We will microchip any breed of any age as long as your dog is 8 weeks or older.
All Greyhound Gap dogs are re-homed with a microchip already in place but we love all dogs and are committed to promoting the safe return of all dogs with their owners which is why we offer our microchip service and a lifetime of peace of mind for only £10 per dog!
Our first surgery will take place on Saturday 30th July 2011 from 10am tp 4pm at:
Stanley Village Hall
We will also be selling a small selection of collars, leads and toys, please call in anytime.
ALL PROCEEDS WILL GO TO GREYHOUND GAP
